IPA Beach Clean-Up

Working Together for Cleaner Coasts and a Healthier Planet

As part of the Green IPA Project, the Socio-Cultural Commission is proud to introduce the IPA Beach Clean-Up Initiative—an annual global event bringing together IPA members to protect our coastlines, celebrate environmental stewardship, and promote the values of international friendship through action.

Beaches around the world are increasingly polluted with plastics, fishing gear, masks, cigarette filters, and other waste that harm marine life and ecosystems. This project is our way of taking responsibility and making a visible difference—one piece of litter at a time.

2025 Beach Clean-Up

The 2025 Beach Clean-Up took place this past June, in alignment with World Environment Day (celebrated annually on 5 June).

From 01 to 15 June 2025, IPA members from various national sections came together to clean coastlines, raise awareness, and connect with others who care about protecting our planet.

Participants brought gloves, reusable water bottles, and a positive spirit—making this initiative not just about cleaning, but about community, education, and impact.

IPA Branches also hosted post-clean-up gatherings to relax, share stories, and celebrate their success together.

 Looking Ahead

The IPA Beach Clean-Up will return in June 2026, and we’re already looking forward to even broader participation from across the IPA family.
