Terborgh Castle is located between the old towns of Valkenburg and Sittard on many hiking and cycling trails: an oasis of peace in South Limburg's hilly country. The four wings of the square enclose the largest courtyard in the Netherlands. Our castle was built in the 12th and 17th centuries and you will still find dungeons, stables and a private chapel. The Romans, knights and goat riders are always palpably close here!
The rooms breathe the atmosphere of earlier times; You will not find TV here, but of course you will find WiFi. Our meeting room, bedrooms, sanitary facilities and kitchens naturally meet all modern conveniences. Creaking stairs take you to the rooms, for the disabled there is an apartment in the gate.
Whether you come to stay overnight, have a meeting or both: the authentic castle atmosphere is guaranteed! We offer individual rooms and various group packages, and you can even rent the entire castle. All IPA members receive a 20% discount! There is no mandatory purchase of food or drinks. Cook yourself in the cooking studio or come and eat at our Gasterij or elsewhere in the immediate area.
