Stifterhof Castle

The Stifterhof Castle, surrounded by a park of about 13,000 square meters, was built by will of the baron Georg Freiherr von Ompteda, writer of novels, in the early years of the '900. Since 1967 it is owned by the Assistance Fund for the personnel of the Italian State Police Force. There are 27 rooms furnished almost exclusively with antique furniture. A registration form is to be completed, signed and must be sent via e-mail, accompanied by copy of the I.P.A. membership card, valid for the current year, at least 45 days before the chosen period. Requests received after this deadline will be assessed only pending rooms availability at the facility.
