A Celebration of Friendship in Bremen
In the festive setting of the 84th National Board

German Section celebrated its 70th anniversary.
The historic Bremer Ratskeller provided a fitting
venue for this special jubilee celebration – a place
whose long tradition and unique atmosphere
perfectly reflected the spirit of encounter,

In his welcome address, Philipp Kurz, President of IPA Germany, emphasized the special significance of this
milestone:
“70 years of IPA Germany – that means 70 years of lived friendship, trust, and international collegiality. Our
community connects generations and transcends borders – true to our motto Servo per Amikeco –
Service through Friendship.”
Among the numerous guests were distinguished
representatives from the police, politics, and the
IPA family:
Ms. Antje Grotheer, President of the Bremen
Parliament, Mr. Nicolai Roth, Inspector of Police
Bremen, Ms. Petra van Anken, Head of the State
Criminal Police Office, and Ms. Andrea Wittrock,
Head of the Operations Directorate, attended the
celebration as guests of honour and conveyed
their warm congratulations.
A special welcome was also extended to IPA friend

Germany – A Symbol of Friendship and
Sustainability
Instead of traditional gifts, the representatives of
the regional groups were presented with a tree
donation as part of the Green IPA Project – a
gesture rich in meaning and symbolism.
Each tree donation represents a living symbol of
friendship, unity, and responsibility towards future
generations.
The tree stands for the deep roots of
camaraderie, the strong branches of international
friendship, and the sustainable growth of a

May it grow and thrive, reminding us always that
true strength lies in friendship, peace, and
