Stalking the Stalker- presented by Hamish Brown
Hamish Brown is a retired Detective Inspector from Scotland Yards’ Specialist Crime Directorate who served over thirty years service with the Metropolitan Police. Although having a thorough investigative background, especially regarding rape, murder and contract killing he went on to specialise in the crime of stalking.
He is a leading authority of national and international standing and has addressed diverse audiences ranging from high profile crime conferences around the world (including the International Association of Women Police conferences on many occasions) to local community groups. The presentation, of around 45 minutes, is from an investigative and victim perspective and supported throughout by case histories and anecdotal examples with the aim of raising the awareness of stalking.
Hamish’s work on stalking was acknowledged with the of awarded the MBE.
