The opportunities and risks associated with taking on a leadership role are only experienced in practical work and can quickly lead to uncertainty, stress and the consideration of whether the decision was right. The “promotion” to manager in a team to which one previously belonged as a colleague is often experienced as particularly sensitive. For previously “equals”, the change of role to the supervisor entails many conflicts and requirements that are not easy to master. There are often traps lurking that decide on leadership success. In the seminar, we will address the question “Why do I want to become a leader?” and the accompanying theses such as “You have to be born to lead” or “You can’t learn to lead.” as well as the questions “What tools do I need?” and “Where do I get support from?”.
This seminar is designed and open exclusively to interested parties who have not previously held any management positions or have been working as managers for a maximum of five years.
