Hear from Shaun Keep who was the Investigating Officer (2006-2016) to understand the learning from the forensic review that led to the successful convictions in 2012.
Shaun Keep joined the MPS in 1981 and served North and South London OCU’s with postings as PS/DS on Child Protection, Domestic Violence Units, Serial Rape enquiries and finally Homicide (Cold Cases). He also spent some time in pro-active roles and intelligence development. He left as Det/Insp in 2016 and has since co-founded a ‘ speak up’ service (www.say-so.co.uk) that continues his long-term involvement in safeguarding and equality.
