It is our great pleasure to invite IPA members to participate in the IPA Friendship Week in Sri Lanka, taking place from 25 to 31 October 2026. The friendship week takes place following the 69th IPA World Congress 2026.
This special week offers a wonderful opportunity to experience the warm hospitality, culture and natural beauty of Sri Lanka while strengthening international friendship within the IPA family. The programme includes visits to some of the country’s most iconic locations, cultural landmarks and natural attractions.
During the week participants will enjoy:
• A welcome dinner in Colombo
• Visits to the Dambulla Cave Temple, Anuradhapura Ancient City, and the spectacular Sigiriya Rock Fortress
• Cultural experiences including a village safari and a visit to a spice garden and tea factory
• Wildlife experiences at Udawalawa National Park, whale watching, and a visit to a turtle hatchery
• A tour of the historic Galle Fort
• A farewell dinner in Colombo to conclude the event
Friendship Week promises a memorable combination of fellowship, culture, nature and adventure while discovering the beauty of Sri Lanka.
