IPA Netherlands Terrorism Response Seminar November 2025

The Terrorism Response Seminar will return this year at IBZ Gimborn, Germany.

This is not just another training. It’s a unique 5-day experience that immerses you in the theory, psychology, and practice of modern terrorism — and most importantly, how to prevent it.

What you’ll experience:

  • From planning to prevention: Understand the full terrorist planning cycle — from radicalisation, recruitment, and target selection to execution and getaway — and learn how to recognise and disrupt each step.
  • Digital dimension: Dive deep into the online world of terrorism, from extremist propaganda to dark web arms trade. With our unique, safe Dark Web Sandbox, you’ll gain hands-on investigative skills that you can directly apply in your own work.
  • OSINT in action: Learn advanced open-source intelligence techniques and apply them in both simulated and real-world scenarios.
  • Practical exercises: Field training in public areas, surveillance drills, and scenario-based challenges sharpen your decision-making under pressure.
  • Immersive experiences: A haunted escape room, serious games inside the Gimborn Castle, and evening team challenges make this seminar unforgettable.
  • Final mission: A large-scale terrorism response simulation puts all your skills to the test in a safe but highly realistic environment.

Your training team: 7 international experts combining operational, tactical, analytical and academic expertise.
