The International Police Association (IPA) – Regional Administration of Pieria is pleased to announce its annual hiking expedition to the legendary Mount Olympus and the breathtaking Plateau of the Muses.
The event will take place on 6–7 August 2026, starting from Gortsia and leading to the Plateau of the Muses, where participants will spend the night at the “Giosos Apostolidis” mountain refuge at an altitude of 2,740 meters. The group will descend via the same route on the following day.
The hiking duration is estimated at 5–7 hours, depending on the group’s overall capability, and the expedition will be accompanied by an experienced mountain guide.
Participation fee:
* €25 for IPA members
* €30 for non-members
Participants who wish to arrange additional overnight stays before or after the hike are kindly requested to contact the organizers as soon as possible, in order to ensure availability and proper arrangements.
Please note that the number of participants is limited, and registrations will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
