IPA Upper Carinthia warmly invites you to take part in a unique and enriching programme combining breathtaking Alpine scenery, cultural highlights, and true IPA camaraderie. From the moment of arrival, participants will be welcomed in a friendly atmosphere and guided through a carefully curated week designed to offer both relaxation and memorable shared experiences.
The programme begins on Sunday, 14 June, with arrival, room allocation and a warm welcome by the hosts, Martin Waldner and Ewald Grollitsch (IPA Upper Carinthia). An introduction to the week’s activities will be followed by a convivial evening with a glass of Prosecco and dinner.
Throughout the week, participants will enjoy a variety of guided hikes and excursions in some of the most beautiful regions of Austria and northern Italy. Highlights include hiking in the Nassfeld area, a day trip to Gerlitzen, and a much-loved picnic at the Winkelalm, offering several guided walking options or a scenic tractor ride—always a favourite and a true culinary highlight.
An international flavour is added with a bus trip to Friuli (Italy), featuring a visit to Lago di Cavazzo, the butterfly museum in Bordano, and a San Daniele ham tasting with wine, followed by an entertaining evening at the casino.
The week continues with time at the Rattendorfer Alm, traditional cuisine including a fish buffet with live music, and a relaxed final day with a musically accompanied lunch at the hotel.
The programme concludes on Sunday, 21 June, with departure—taking home wonderful memories, new friendships, and the anticipation of meeting again.
