Internal Auditors

Internal Auditors ensure the financial integrity and good governance of the International Police Association (IPA) through independent oversight of the Association’s accounts and treasury practices. Elected every four years by the International Executive Council (IEC), they review annual financial statements, verify that IEC/IEB decisions are properly implemented, and present both written and oral reports to the IEC and at the World Congress.

Acting as impartial advisors, they may also recommend improvements to financial management and governance. Ideal candidates have a financial or accounting background, strong analytical and communication skills, and maintain full independence and confidentiality in their work.
